When and where is HEAR THE SOUND?

Hear the Sound is on Friday June 16th at 8pm. It will be at the Gene Leahy Mall Amphitheater, also known locally as Central Park or The Mall. It is a 9.6 acre park located in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. HERE is a link to take you directly to the address.

Is there a cost?

There is no cost of admittance. This is an open to the public worship concert, so invite your friends and family and join us.

Where should I park?

Everyone from Omaha knows parking downtown during the College World Series can be a nightmare. We encourage you to carpool with friends, park at Westroads, Crossroads or Midtown and take the ORBT bus down. HERE is a link to the ORBT route and schedule.

Will there be seating?

Like any concert, and especially heart filled worship we encourage standing and engaging with the Lord. The venue has limited seating on the sidewalks. But there will not be additional seating provided. If you are in need of seating please make your own arrangements.

Is childcare available?

This is a family friendly event so we encourage you to bring your children along with you. There is a beautiful park for them to play on and “busy bags” with activities will be provided for the kiddos. We will also have a fully staffed security team on hand.

What if I am not a part of a local church?

We believe that the local church is God’s plan A for the world. If you are not a part of one currently, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We will have a resource tent with a list of local churches in Omaha for you to be able to get connected to.

How can I be a part?

We have many serving and prayer opportunities that are going to take place the week of the event and College World Series. Use THIS LINK to sign up for one of those times. Additionally, you can play a part by sharing and liking on social media and inviting your friends, family, co-workers and whomever is in your world.

Who is invited?

My City Church is hosting Hear the Sound for the city of Omaha. The invitation is for all believers of all walks of life to gather together to worship God in unity in the City of Omaha, for the City of Omaha. The Good News of Jesus Christ will be shared in a portion of the night, so even if someone attends not knowing who Jesus Christ is, they will have the opportunity to come to know Him. Although, our main focus will be to awaken our hearts to God’s purposes for Omaha.
